Hosting a Business After-Hours to celebrate a grand opening, an anniversary, or move to a new location is a great way to invite the community and other businesses to get to know you and your business. All Chamber Business After-Hours will be held on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. If you would like a Ribbon Cutting at your Business-After Hours please indicate below. Ribbon Cuttings will be done at 5:00 p.m.
We encourage the host of a Business After-Hours to provide refreshments and at least one door prize. The Chamber will send an email invitation to all of our Chamber members, the media and city officials. We will include the event in our Chamber Focus Calendar and on our website. We would also encourage you to invite your own customers and/or clients.
If your business is in a location that does not have adequate space to allow such an event, you could arrange to have your event at one of the many Chamber member businesses that have space available. A member restaurant or one of the community meeting rooms would be appropriate. To help share in the cost of the event you may choose to ask other Chamber member businesses to co-sponsor your Business After-Hours.
