Discover Sycamore Farmers Market
Sundays in June through September - 10a.m. to 2p.m.
Local venders gather together in the heart of Sycamore to give visitors the opportunity to buy fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, wine from local wineries, bread and pastries made fresh. (815.895.3456)
 

CRUISE NIGHT AND Turning Back Time Weekend
July 24-26
Held in the heart of historic downtown Sycamore the last full weekend in July. Saturday, enjoy a classic car cruise parade, a swing dancing competition, get out your poodle skirt, slick back your hair for a 50's style costume contest, and concert by "Vintage Vinyl." Over 800 cars on display on Sunday. Enjoy “Turning Back Time” with local merchants and restaurants. (815.895.3456)

The Block Party
September 12
Enjoy a Kid’s Parade, Games, Petting Zoo, Food, beer garden, bags tournament and music by  "Red Woody." Downtown Sycamore, on Somonauk Street, between Elm and State Streets,  this annual event is loads of fun for the whole family. (815.895.3456)

December 4th - Walk With Santa presented by Discover Sycamore
Join Santa as he make
s his grand entrance in Sycamore! 
Parade line up begins at the Midwest Museum of Natural History at 5:30 pm. Families and Carolers will walk with Santa, Mrs. Clause, and Elves, down State Street to the Courthouse lawn for a spectacular tree lighting at about 6p.m. Start the holiday season off right in downtown Sycamore.
 

Chocolate Weekend
December 5 & 6

Spend a nostalgic weekend holiday shopping through the quaint shop's in downtown Sycamore.  Our Chocolate Greeters will welcome you as you enjoy complimentary chocolate and other holiday specialties courtesy of Discover Sycamore.  Come experience Sycamore during Chocolate Weekend and find out how sweet a small town can really be.

Take a walk downtown Sycamore and visit local businesses and restaurants.  Enjoy a five course meal by visiting different locations for each course.

The festival commemorates the victory  of the Mexicans over the French army in 1862.  From 1p.m. to 9p.m. - Enjoy carriage rides, food, live entertainment, games fun and spirits. (815.895.2545)
