Discover Sycamore Farmers Market
Sundays, June through September, 11-2pm
Local venders gather together in the heart of Sycamore to give visitors the opportunity to buy fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, wine from local wineries, bread and pastries made fresh. (815.895.3456)

Steam Power Show

The Block Party
September 13
Enjoy a Kid’s Parade, Games, Petting Zoo, Food, beer garden, bags tournament and music by  "Hi Infidelity" at the Discover Sycamore Block Party. Held in downtown Sycamore, on Somonauk Street, between Elm and State Streets,  this annual event is loads of fun for the whole family. (815.895.3456)

The lawn of the courthouse is filled with hundreds and hundreds of pumpkins that are carved, painted and created by area children. Held at the St. Mary's Memorial Hall.

Walk With Santa presented by Discover Sycamore
December 5th

Join Santa as he makes his grand entrance in Sycamore!  Evening starts with a FREE showing of "Rudolph" at the Sycamore Theatre at 5 p.m., sponsored by the Sycamore Public Library.  Line up for the parade begins at the theatre at 5:30 pm.  Children walk with Santa down State Street to the Courthouse lawn at 5:45 p.m. for a spectacular tree lighting at about 6p.m. Start the holiday season off right in downtown Sycamore.

Spend a nostalgic weekend holiday shopping through the quaint shop's in downtown Sycamore.  Our Chocolate Greeter will welcome you as you enjoy complimentary chocolate and other holiday specialties courtesy of Discover Sycamore.  Come experience Sycamore during Chocolate Weekend and find out how sweet a small town can really be.

Kites Over Sycamore presented by Kar-Fre Flowers

Spring comes flying into Sycamore!  This event is for families and kite enthusiasts of all ages.  Come learn how to make your own kite and enjoy a "Kite Fly" at Sycamore Park.
